Just leafing through the latest British Mountaineering Council (BMC) magazine called Summit. Pages 52-56 have an interesting article all about travelling to some of the mountainous areas of Russia. Obviously Russia is a massive place and not well known to the average westerner. There are so many fantastic adventures to be had out there. We are extremely lucky to have our fantastic Russian staff to introduce us to their country and sort out the paperwork. Our head guide Sasha is as knowledgable as he is passionate about the cultural as well as the natural wonders of the wild places of Russia. He somehow manages to find time to write and publish guidebooks as well as guiding. He leads all our expeditions to Mt Elbrus in the Caucasus, Kamchatka Treks and Altai Expeditions. For more info have a peep at our website.
